Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

The short version

  • We don't ask for personal information such as names, email addresses or locations, from anyone, including children.
  • No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. The Scavaro app never sends anything about you or your players to us.
  • Your settings, saved game and any player names stay on your device. You can erase them at any time.
  • Purchases are handled by the app store you buy through, and checked by our purchase provider, RevenueCat, using anonymous IDs. We never see your payment details.
  • You can delete your data at any time, with no account needed.

1. Who we are

Scavaro is made by Hilbren Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Scavaro app on TVs and other devices, and the website at scavaro.com.

2. What the app stores, and where

To work, Scavaro saves a small amount of information only on your device:

This information is never sent to us or to third parties. We cannot see it. (The only thing the app sends over the internet is the purchase check described in Purchases, and it doesn't include any of this.) It is erased if you choose Settings → Clear local data in the app, or if you uninstall Scavaro.

The app does not use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking services, does not use your camera, microphone or location, and does not include chat, sharing or links to social networks.

3. Narration

When narration is on, Scavaro reads prompts aloud using the text-to-speech engine built into your device. The text being read is a challenge prompt such as "Find a sock". It never includes personal information. Your device maker (for example Amazon, Google or Apple) provides that engine under its own privacy policy, and depending on your device settings it may process speech on the device or online.

4. Purchases

The Everyday pack is free. Other packs are unlocked by a one-time Full Access purchase, made through the store that provides your app, such as the Amazon Appstore or Apple's App Store. That store processes your payment under its own privacy policy.

To confirm and restore Full Access, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., a purchase-validation service that works on our behalf. When the app starts, and when you buy or restore, it sends RevenueCat:

RevenueCat uses this only to check what has been bought and tell the app, under its agreement with us and RevenueCat's privacy policy. It is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking across apps, and the app does not send advertising identifiers. We do not receive your name, payment card or billing address. To delete these records, see Deleting your data.

If we offer purchases on scavaro.com in the future, a payment processor will handle payment, and we would receive only what is needed to deliver and support the purchase, such as an email address and order details. We will update this policy before that happens.

5. Children's privacy

Scavaro is designed for families and classrooms, and is played by children under 13 with a parent, teacher or other adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app never sends any to us. Optional player names stay on the device. The only data the app sends is the anonymous purchase check described in Purchases, which is used only to support the purchase and never to contact, profile or advertise to anyone.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Any purchase prompts are protected by the store's parental controls. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Schools and teachers

Scavaro does not collect, store or transmit student records or any student personal information, so using it in class does not involve sharing education records with us. Teachers who enter student names for a scored game should know that those names stay on the classroom device, and can be cleared with Settings → Clear local data.

7. This website

scavaro.com uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party fonts or scripts. The site is delivered by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to serve pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify or track visitors.

8. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and help you, keep it only as long as needed to resolve your request and keep reasonable records, and never sell it or use it for marketing.

9. Deleting your data

Scavaro has no accounts, in the app or on this website, so there is no account to create or delete. You can delete some or all of your data without one:

10. Your choices and rights

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling. Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. We don't hold names or contact details for app users, and our purchase provider holds only the anonymous records described in Purchases, but we will answer any request.

Scavaro is operated from the United States. If you contact us from another country, your message is processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how Scavaro handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. If a change would mean collecting personal information from children, we will not do so without first getting verifiable parental consent as COPPA requires.
